Hello. Drill Sgt Medeiros was my drill from Sept 1984 - Nov 1984. My name is Robert Lysen. He was a tough drill but a very good man and we all loved him. I'll never forget him showing up at 4 am one day madder than anyone else I had ever seen. He had this nice brown pickup truck and he found a long scratch down one side from a key. He put us through hell that day! Funny thing was that later when I was stationed in Germany, I met another soldier who also had your dad in B.T., 2 years before me and he told the same story! I couldn't believe it. He led up to the Post Drill & Ceremony Champions and he also won Drill Sgt of the cycle. I never forgot him. (roblysen@gmail.com)
